Frequently Asked Questions

What to expect when working with RR Studio.

1. What kinds of clients do you work with?

I work with small business owners, creatives, and founders who want to do things well—not fast—and don’t follow trends or chase what others are doing. While many are in hospitality, retail, or lifestyle sectors, I also work with clients in more traditional industries or private homes who are open to rethinking how their space or brand feels. If you're here to refine, not follow the rulebook, we’ll likely be a good fit.

2. What’s your availability like?

RR Studio operates Tuesday to Friday, with flexible hours that support creative flow. I’m not an early-inbox person, but I’m responsive and intentional—you can expect thoughtful replies within 1–2 business days. I don’t work weekends, and often do my best work in the evenings when the studio’s quiet and ideas land.

3. How do we communicate?

Email is best—it keeps everything clear and easy to track. Calls or voice chats can be scheduled around uninterrupted client work, and I’m happy to receive quick texts if needed. Written communication is always preferred for clarity and record-keeping.

4. What’s your process like?
I work in three stages:
Story – uncover your voice, values, and direction
Shape – translate that into messaging, strategy, or spatial ideas
Refine – adjust, align, and prepare for rollout or real-world use

The process is collaborative, concept-led, and paced to support clarity—not urgency. Whether we’re working on brand, space, or both, we start with meaning and build from there.

5. How long do projects take?

Most projects run over 2–6 weeks, depending on scope. When I take on the right work, I become deeply immersed—hungry, focused, and fully invested. That’s why client response times make a big difference. You’ll receive a clear timeline upfront, but the pace is shaped by how we both show up. I don’t offer rushed work—I offer work that lands well and lasts.

6. What do you need from me?

You don’t need a polished plan—just a willingness to share openly. I’ll guide you through the rest. What helps the process flow:

– Completing any intake forms or questions

– Sharing honest, thoughtful feedback (in batches, not bit by bit)

– Aiming to reply within 2–4 business days, so we keep momentum without feeling rushed

7. What if I’m not sure what I need yet?

That’s more common than not. Most clients reach out with a feeling, not a fixed plan—and that’s exactly where we begin. It’s always better to come sooner than later. I’m here to guide you from concept to clarity, and help shape what your brand or space actually needs.

8. What if we need to pause or shift direction?

That’s okay—life happens. If something changes, just reach out. I’m always open to adjusting timelines or scope if we stay in clear communication. If a project is paused or ends early, payment will still be required for work and time completed to date. Respect goes both ways, and I’ll always extend the same in return.

9. What makes your approach different?

I bring a mix of story, strategy, and real-world experience. I’ve run businesses, designed spaces, written menus, styled products, built websites, and written the words too—I know what it takes to build something from the ground up. My work is concept-led, strategy-backed, and shaped to suit your pace and purpose. I don’t bow to passing trends—I build brands, presence & spaces that last.

10. What’s it like to work with you?
Relaxed but thorough. Strategic but human. I care deeply about what I do, and I want you to feel supported, seen, and excited about what we create. It’s collaborative, but with room to breathe. I’ll guide the process with structure and care—and make sure what we build actually works for you. Think of me as your creative partner-in-crime: I’m in it with you.

I can’t wait to work with you.
